Each of these features were carefully built with Herbalife Independent Distributors in mind.
There is a fair amount of text on this page, which you can read piece-by-piece after clicking on a headline below. You may prefer to see a simple list of features.
Of course there are a dozen e-commerce scripts you can buy or download and hire a programmer to modify for you, but there are a handful of reasons you may not want to. That would be infinitely more costly and take weeks to set up. The quality and "sales magnetism" of your eventual web site would be untested, and it's not likely to have handy post-sale functionality which makes actual product delivery go smoothly.
No fully-featured store solutions have been built with Herbalife Distributors in mind, until now. Below, some of those features are going to be described. To see them in action try the demo. There is also a complete bulleted list if that is what you prefer.
One of the most obvious elements on the storefront is a clean row of great big tabs. These stay right where you expect to see them no matter which page you visit, making it easy to jump straight to wherever you like in as few clicks as possible.
"Search for Products or Problems" shouts a bar above. As you type in the search box a list of suggestions pop out based on what you've typed thus far. Try it out! Just type in the article 'a' and see what happens.
Yes, there is a write-up on each and every product, and these are constantly being reveiwed, tweaked, simplified and improved. Likewise with product photographs.
Lastly, notice the usability (a.k.a. "don't make me think") features. It's plain to see what is clickable, what is not, and where clicking will take you. The typeface we chose is large and easy for your customers to read, no matter their age. Important information such as the store's phone number (that would be yourself) is far more prominent than other, less important details to minimise distraction.
Shopper Jane adds a couple products to her cart, then goes away. Maybe the phone rang, baby cried, she ran out of time or the internet connection simply died. Guess what? When she comes back her cart will still have all those carefully chosen goodies inside, ready to go!
It's so simple to bump up the quantity of any item in the cart that it is almost inviting. This is not an accident. As we know, it is far easier to up-sell anybody who's already decided to buy than it is to get fresh orders.
Credit cards are not very popular in South Africa. Of course, any self-respecting online store makes using a card easy and secure, as yours does, but yours also accepts bank deposits! You get an invoice management system as part of the deal. How much do companies spend on similar software for this feature alone? You're welcome.
Receiving an order through your store is a lot of fun! Just remember that it's only the first step in completing a sale. People are typically quite nervous about shopping on any web site the first time 'round, so your shopper needs to be quickly assured that their order has been noticed and you are on top of it.
Email is instantly dispatched to your shopper and yourself, but how could you instantly know when an order has been placed? Your phone will vibrate, sing, ring or whatever you make it do when an SMS text message arrives! The message will look something like this:
New Order # 00071
for 1,809.26 ZAR.
See http://www.your
store.co.za/manager
Bound to put a smile on your face every time.
Remember the sample SMS text in post-sale functionality? The web address in there points to your very own control panel, which has powerful shopper search, invoice management (described above) and order history. Take the manager's control panel for a spin to see how simple it is to call up invoices, shopper contact details, and find orders to mark off as shipped or paid.
Each of your shoppers get their own control panel to update contact and delivery details, see their order history and print past invoices. This is important for making them feel like members of your store, thus more likely to return. Also keeps that veritable address book in your manager's control panel up-to-date! Yes, you're welcome.
